We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as information generated automatically when you use the NIXIFY platform.
- Account Information: Name, email address, and phone number when you register.
- Profile Details: Optional profile photo and saved locations.
- Job Details: Pickup and drop-off addresses, item descriptions, and photos you upload.
- Driver Information: Vehicle type, license details (if provided), and payout account information.
- Communications: Messages sent through our in-app chat feature.
Location & GPS Usage
NIXIFY uses your location solely to facilitate pickups and deliveries. We access GPS data only during active jobs to help customers and drivers coordinate meetups.
- Location is shared only between the matched customer and driver during an active job.
- We do not track your location when you are not using the app or outside of an active pickup.
- You can disable location services in your device settings, though this may limit app functionality.
Payment Processing
All payments on NIXIFY are processed through third-party payment providers (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
- Card numbers and sensitive payment data are handled directly by our PCI-compliant payment partners.
- We store transaction records, payout history, and billing addresses for accounting and dispute resolution.
- Driver payout information is collected and managed through Stripe Connect.
Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and employ industry-standard measures to protect it.
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only and protected by role-based access controls.
- We regularly review our security practices and work with third-party providers that maintain SOC 2 and PCI compliance.
- While we take strong precautions, no system is completely immune to security risks. We will notify you promptly of any data breach affecting your account.
Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have control over your personal data. Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request your data in a commonly used format.
